Beginners Pilates Workshop
This 2-hour workshop introduce the participants to the Pilates Method explaining in detail the foundations of a safe and effective Pilates practice. The participants receive a handout with brief descriptions of common postures, basic exercises and references to in-depth information and research.
Application of the STOTT Pilates®¸ Five Basic Principles is emphasized on selected essential mat exercises. This workshop offers an opportunity to get familiar with Pilates and discover the great potential that it may have in improving one’s health and well-being.
Pilates Workshop
This workshop is designed for the ones that have been exposed to Pilates before, either at a beginner or intermediate level. It allows the participants to bring their Pilates practice to the next level.
The workshop incorporates the use of props (elastic bands, pilates circle and small balls), to either assist or challenge the exercises. Therefore, bringing more awareness into the practice and offering variety.
Pilates Beginner’s Workshop
This 4- hour version of the beginners workshop starts with a brief discussion on how body posture can develop muscular imbalances. The workshop deepens the understanding of the pilates principles and applies them to a wider range of exercises. As well as incorporating a few props with the intention of enhancing awareness and mind-body connection.
