Hi, I’m Angie!

I help people like you to enjoy life moving with ease, feeling healthy and fit, and building confidence every day. Through my pilates instruction I give you the piece of the puzzle that is missing in every other type of exercises or workouts. I teach you to be strong from inside out, helping you to find body awareness, strength and vitality.

 

 

I was introduced to Pilates after injuring my knees doing aerobics and spinning. 

Like you, being healthy and fit has always been part of my wellness goals. As a teenager and young adult, aerobics and spinning were part of my daily exercise routine… but I ended up hurting my knees.

Back then I had no idea how to use my core to get the most benefit of the exercises and protect me from getting injured.

Pilates helped me to recover from my knee injuries, and to increase my core strength; I also discovered that I became more agile and confident to move. I was toning my muscles without creating bulk and also obtaining the slim look that I dreamed of since I was a teenager.

 As a teenager, I dreamed of being a ballerina but I was a bit overweight.

Now people ask me if I am a ballerina!

Pilates made such a difference in my life that I fell in love with the method. I practiced Pilates for many years and moving around the world, always looking for the best pilates instructor inspired me to become an instructor myself!

In 2016 I trained and obtained my first certification with STOTT Pilates®️ in Mat and Reformer.

Since then I have continued my studies to expand my knowledge obtaining the STOTT PILATES Full Studio Certification (Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrells) at all levels.

I keep up to date with new techniques and modalities related to Fascial Movement, Prenatal and Postnatal Pilates and Athletic Conditioning, in order to fulfill the best way possible my clients’ goals.

 

 

Teaching has become my passion as I see how my instruction contributes to improve people’s wellness. Every day I discover how fascinating the human anatomy and movement are, and continue to keep up to date with my training by attending courses and workshops on a regular basis.  

Because as a client I like quality and dedication, that is what I give my clients.

Every class is more than a fitness routine. It involves a special connection because I also have wellness goals like you. I also experienced pain and injuries so I understand your needs!

My academic background in accounting and finance trained me to be precise and detailed oriented. My MBA trained me to be able to see the big picture, integrating and managing those details. These are very useful skills in my Pilates instruction. They make a difference in the way I analyze your body, create and apply customized Pilates exercise programs especially for you.

I am fluent in English and Spanish, and enjoy teaching in both languages.

I have worked with athletes, as well as the young and old, injured and healthy. Every client, every class is a unique and enriching experience.

My big passions : Family, Travel and Pilates

  • I am a devoted wife and mother of a beautiful girl 

  • I am originally from a tropical paradise called Venezuela

  • I have traveled to more than 50 countries around the world and have lived in 8 countries

  • I am not 100% vegan but always prefer and enjoy finding vegan alternatives to my favorite recipes

  • Besides Pilates, I also enjoy practicing yoga and meditate at least 10 minutes every day
